Boost for Leicester City as Ndidi returns ahead of Liverpool clash

Brendan Rodgers has welcomed a key player back into his training squad ahead of the Foxes’ fixture against Jurgen Klopp’s side this weekend

Wilfred Ndidi has returned to full training following an abductor injury, in a boost for Leicester City and manager Brendan Rodgers.

The Nigeria international has been out of action after suffering a knock in the Foxes’ 4-2 defeat to Burnley in a Premier League game in September.

Before his injury, the midfielder had been drafted into central defence so far in the 2020-21 campaign following the unavailability of Wes Morgan, Jonny Evans and Filip Benkovic.
