Ebuehi replaces injured Ndidi in Nigeria's friendlies squad

The Super Eagles coach has disclosed that the Twente right-back will take the place of the incapacitated Leicester City star for October's games

FC Twente defender Tyronne Ebuehi will replace Wilfred Ndidi in Nigeria’s squad for October's friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia.

Ndidi was among the initial 25-man squad with Ebuehi grouped with players on standby.

However, injury for the Leicester City midfielder in the Foxes’ 4-2 triumph over Burnley ruled him out of the encounter meant to prepare the Super Eagles for their 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone in November.
