The 20-year-old was flying to Milan this morning ahead of completing his transfer.
Hauge said, "It is clear that it is an incredibly large club. When things here have become a reality in the last few days, then it's clear that it's big. I feel that it is achievable to play for the Milan team.
"It will be exciting to see what the next few days bring. I hope we get it in place. That's right for all parties. It's a step I feel I'm ready to take. I just have to thank Glimt for the cooperation we have had."
