Victor Lindelof Appears To Launch X-Rated Expletive At Bruno Fernandes During Man United’s 2-1 Defeat

Victor Lindelof allegedly called Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes a "son of a b***h" during a heated altercation in the Red Devils' Europa League defeat.

United clashed with Sevilla in the semi-finals on Sunday and took the early lead through a Fernandes penalty.

But the Red Devils' advantage was undone in the first half when former Liverpool man Suso pulled back an equaliser.

Both Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka switched off late into the second half as Luuk de Jong put Sevilla ahead with a close-range shot after latching onto a Jesus Navas cross.

However, tensions started to flair between Lindelof and Fernandes as the United players were spotted exchanging words in their altercation.

The 26-year-old Swedish centre-back allegedly told Fernandes to "Vai tomar no cu filho da puta," which translates to "Go f**k yourself, son of a b***h."

Fernandes, who was recently compared to Eric Cantona, later admitted what happened between him and Lindelof was "normal" and they were "looking out for each other."

The 25-year-old Portuguese midfielder explained: "I think when we take a goal it is the fault from everyone, starting in the front.

"We can't take a goal from a throw-in in the first half, we need to be better in pressing, they can't come up so easily. After comes mistake after mistake.

"We are mad when we take a goal, but the fault is from everyone, not from one player to take the fall, but all the team.

"It's not about me or Victor, it's about everything. What happened between us is nothing. It's normal. It's football. It happens. It's looking out for each other.

"This thing will happen many more times in other teams. The most important thing now is seeing the mistakes we made and look forward to improving in the next games."

Sevilla will now face the winner of Shakhtar Donetsk vs Inter Milan in the final on 21st August.
