Ronaldo battling Man Utd to land Raul for Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo is battling former club Manchester United for Wolves striker Raul Jimenez.

Gazzetta dello Sport says United have been linked with a move as they search for attacking weapons and may have to turn to Jadon Sancho alternatives.

However, now it has been reported that Ronaldo wants Jimenez to join him at Juventus as Andrea Pirlo looks to retool an ageing and expensive squad.

Ronaldo wants Jimenez to snub United's interest and join him in Italy.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be keen to add to his strikeforce to ease the burden on Anthony Martial and views the 29-year-old as the ideal option.

Jimenez scored 27 goals across all competitions last season, but after Wolves exited the Europa League, he may look to leave to find Champions League football. Wolves are reportedly asking for £90million.
