Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen for an initial £72 million ($96m) fee, Goal understands.
The Germany international has agreed terms over a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge, with a final deal set to be completed once he passes a medical.
Leverkusen head coach Peter Bosz admitted on Monday that Havertz will no longer train with the squad, telling a press conference: "I don't expect him to come back (after the international break).
