English club, Stockport County has signed midfielder, John Rooney.
Rooney joined Stockport from Barrow for an undisclosed fee.
He signed a three-year deal with the fifth-tier English side.
Stockport disclosed this in a statement via the club’s official website on Monday.
It said: “The Club is delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder John Rooney from Barrow for an undisclosed fee.
“The 29-year-old has signed a 3-year contract at Edgeley Park and will begin pre-season training with the squad later this week.”
Reacting, the club Manager, Jim Gannon said: “We are all delighted John has joined us at County.
“I think this signing is a real statement of intent on behalf of Stockport County.” |
