Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay is confident keeping Martin Odegaard for next season.
The Real Madrid midfielder is in season one of a two season loan with La Real.
"We're very hopeful that he'll continue with us, but we also can't pull the wool over our eyes," Aperribay told El Diario Vasco.
Aperribay was asked if the club would need to sell any players in order to balance the books as a result of the coronavirus crisis.
"Absolutely not," he stated.
"This crisis will have an effect on La Real, because it has come at such an important time for the club with the remodelling of the stadium but, luckily, our finances are strong and we have made good investments in a young squad which has a bright future."
