Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have sent a legal letter to a woman claiming the NBA star fathered her child, according to reports.
The former couple's attorney Marty Singer has confirmed the basketball player took a paternity test which came out negative.
In a legal letter sent by Singer, Kimberly Alexander was asked to "immediately stop defaming them with malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications" over the paternity claim.
Kimberly has requested Tristan takes a second test which Singer has agreed the sports star will take on the grounds the results were sent off to an AABB-accredited lab, according to E! News.
The paternity test rumours begun floating on Wednesday after Gossip of the City uncovered Tristan took the test in January.
Singer wrote in a new letter obtained by E! News: "After it was indisputably established by a paternity test performed by one of the most reputable labs that Mr. Thompson is not your child's father, we thought that would be the end of this.
"Instead, you have continued to spread outrageous lies about my clients, including ridiculous fictional conspiracy theories that you conjured up claiming that my clients supposedly somehow falsified the paternity test results since members of the Kardashian family had previously used the same trustworthy lab."
Singer further threatened to pursue a courtroom battle with Kimberly if she didn't back down.
He warned Kimberly could face multi-million-dollar claims locked in a legal battle with the Kardashians.
He added: "It is obvious that the reason you are spreading these lies about my clients is because you want your 15 minutes of fame. My clients will not tolerate your despicable conduct."
"It has been proven that Mr. Thompson is not the father of your child and we demand that you stop claiming that he is, and that he and Ms. Kardashian somehow falsified the paternity test results. It is defamatory per se to falsely assert that someone is a deadbeat dad who allegedly does not support his children, and to falsely accuse my clients of faking paternity test results."
Tristan has two children from previous relationships.
The basketball star raises his daughter True, two, with his ex-girlfriend Khloe.
He moved on with Khloe while his ex-girlfriend at the time Jordan Craig was pregnant with his son Prince.
Khloe and Tristan have always maintained he was single when they got together.
Scandal has followed their relationship as it hit headlines Tristan had cheated on Khloe just as she went into labour.
Although she forgave him the first time, the damage was unrepairable when he locked lips with Kylie Jenner's BFF Jorydn Woods at a house party.
They split for good in February 2019 but they have been playing happy families in lockdown with their daughter.
