Sagna backs Arteta to end Arsenal title drought

Former Arsenal fullback Bacary Sagna is confident Mikel Arteta can end the club's title drought.
The Gunners haven't won the Premier League title since 2004.

Quizzed on whether Arsenal are capable of winning the title in the next few years, Sagna told Goal: "I think so.

"Leicester did it and no-one expected them to, but they had a great team spirit and were fighting every single game.

"Arsenal can do it too, because if you face Arsenal it is always difficult because of the way they move and play."

On Arteta's appointment, the former France international added: "I think it was a great choice because he has personality.

"If he's not happy about a player he will go straight to them and tell them they are out of the team and that they will have to work to come back."
