Russia youth coach Mikhail Galaktionov has no doubts about the quality of CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov.
Chalov saw a move to Crystal Palace blocked by CSKA last year, though the Eagles remain keen ahead of the summer market.
Asked if he believed the situation affected Chalov mentally, Galaktionov insisted: "I am absolutely convinced no.
"In personal communication, he is absolutely fine. In the national team and the club there are no questions for him, as far as I know.
"We need to consider his game in a different plane: how he opens, acts effectively or not, whether he and the team create goal chances..."
This season, Chalov has played 31 matches for CSKA, scored 6 goals and produced 5 assists
