The English FA have charged Manchester United for failing to conduct their players in an orderly fashion during Sunday's Liverpool game at Anfield.
The incident occurred after Roberto Firmino's disallowed goal, when referee Craig Pawson refused to give a free-kick for what looked like a foul by Virgil Van Dijk on Goalkeeper David De Gea.
The United players immediately surrounded the referee to express their disappointment at the decision.
It was later overturned following the intervention of VAR.
Pawson did give De Gea a yellow card for his reaction to the decision before the goal was disallowed.
Now, The Football Association have charged Manchester United for misconduct despite losing the match 2-0 on Sunday evening.
However, Former United defender Gary Neville was surprised by the decision to disallow the goal.
Neville told Sky Sports: 'They think Virgil van Dijk fouled David de Gea but my first thought was it absolutely wasn't. It appeared like De Gea just dropped it.
'We will see with VAR and it will be decided if Van Dijk raised his arm or not.
'I don't agree it's a foul. Van Dijk basically dropped his arms and jumped for the ball. Solskjaer is furious, David de Gea is also furious.
'We've seen this before, De Gea, you have to be stronger when challenged and not drop it.
'I think it's a soft foul. If it was against my team, I wouldn't expect a foul.'
Manchester United now have until Thursday to respond.
