See You Soon In Italy - Zlatan Ibrahimovic Hints At Serie A Return

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted that his next transfer is moving to the Italian Serie A after weeks of speculations. The 38-year-old has been a free agent since his exit from LA Galaxy in the MLS last month.

Italian clubs have shown interest in signing the striker among those are AC Milan, Inter Milan and also Napoli.

“I will join a club that must get back to winning, that has to renew its history and is in search of a battle against everyone and everything,” Ibrahimovic told GQ Italia.

“That is the only way I’ll be able to find the necessary motivation to surprise you again. It’s not just about choosing a team, as there are other factors that needto line up, including in the interests of my family.

“I’ll see you in Italy soon.”

AC Milan's club director Frederic Massara stressed early this week that Ibrahimovic hadn't entered into negotiations with the club, despite reports to the contrary.

"There is no news on Ibrahimovic, because this is not a negotiation," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"He is evaluating his future. He is on the market, but there are no developments."

Ibrahimovic has previously played for both Inter and AC Milan, winning the Serie A title four times across stints with both clubs.

Ibrahimovic has made headlines off the pitch over the past week after becoming part-owner of Swedish club Hammarby.
