Manchester United Offer Erling Braut Haaland £200k Wages In Contract

Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is now fully determined to sign Striker Erling Braut Haaland II the January transfer window.

According to The Sun, United have offered Haaland shocking wages of £200,000-per-week if he does agree to join the club next month.

The 19-year-old currently earns £20,000-per-week at RB Salzburg, where he joined in January 2019.

Haaland has been very impressive and is having a fantastic season for RB Salzburg.

He has scored 28 goals in just 22 appearances so far this season and this resulted in links from Europe's to clubs like Juventus, United, Borrusia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

RB Salzburg want around £76million for the youngster.

If Haaland decides to sign for United on such a contract, it would make him one of the highest paid players in the Red Devils squad.

However, According to German publication Bild, the Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are refusing to go above €5m (£4.25m) per year, which works out at just over £81,000-per-week.

However, United hope offered Haaland a tasty contract which includes significant wage increase, extra bonuses for scoring goals and winning the Golden Boot.

The player has been with various clubs representatives to speak about their terms before making his decision on his future, including a meeting with Solskjaer.

While United feel they are in a strong position due to their financial strength another factor that may help them is that Solskjaer has previously worked with the Haaland, when they were both at Molde.

Haaland star his career at Norway club Bryne and then joined Molde in 2017, while Solskjaer was in charge as manager the club.

The striker scored 20 goals in 50 appearances for the club, before then deciding to join RB Salzburg after rejecting a potential transfer to Juventus.
