RB Salzburg Star Erling Braut Haaland has agreed to join Juventus over Manchester United, according to reports in Italy.

According to Italian Newspapers Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, Haaland has agreed to join Juventus in the January transfer window.

And the 19-year-old has now seen himself at Serie A giants Juventus after an official meeting with club representatives.

Manchester United, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund did hold talks with the highly-rated youngster.

RB Leipzig who were interested in Haaland, but one of the club's chiefs Oliver Mintzlaff conceded that it is difficult to compete with the top clubs.

'Yes, we have spoken with him. We are interested in signing the player, we are very keen, he told Sport1.

'It's very difficult. There's Juventus, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund and a few other clubs as well.'

The Daily Mail claim Juventus have now won the race ahead of their European rivals to sign a talented player who has scored 28 goals in 22 appearances so far this season.

Haaland's release clause of £26million (€30m) was activated by several bidders.

However, Haaland is wants to link up and learn his trade from great players such as Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo in the Juventus squad which is an opportunity too good to reject.

Meanwhile, United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has regularly answered questions over Haaland after reports claimed he flew to Australia to meet his fellow countryman.

And Solksjaer had claimed the player's mind was already made up.

“Haaland already knows what to do and knows where he plans to go," said Solskjaer.

“I can't offer any advice to other teams' players.”
