Chelsea Star Antonio Rudiger Blasts "Racism" After Alleged Abuse In Tottenham Win

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has called for the end of Racism after an incident in the 2-0 Tottenham win yesterday.

Rudiger claims he was racially abuse by Spurs fans during the game at their new Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

After Spurs star Heung Min-Son was sent off, thee 26-year-old told club captain Cesar Azpilicueta that he had heard racist abuse from the fans.

Rudiger then reacted to the racist chants by making a monkey gesture before pointing at his ears.

Chelsea were already 2-0 at the time, after an impressive performance from Frank Lampard’s team.

However, result was overshadowed by racist abuse, as Rudiger urged for better actions from the authorities.

“It is very sad to see racism yet again in a football match, but it is very important to speak out about it. If you don't speak, it will forgotten within a couple of days like nothing happened," he wrote.

“I don't want to describe them as Tottenham fans but there are some idiots who made the racist chants.

“I have got lots of encouraging messages from fans and thank you all for that.

“My hope now is that the offenders will be caught and punished for their actions, and in a top class ground like Tottenham Hotspur's Stadium with hundreds of TV and cameras, it is very possible to find the offenders.

“If they can't be find directly, there should be witnesses who also heard the chants.

“It's a shame on everyone that racism still exists in 2019 which is almost over."

“When will this stupid behavior stop?”

Tottenham have now released a statement after the end of the match, in which they clearly stated that stadium bans will be given out to as punishment for anyone responsible for racist chants.
