Ronaldo’s Hairdresser Stabbed To Death In Zurich



The body of stylist Ricardo Marques Ferreira who named Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo as one of his major clients was discovered by Zurich police late Friday night with multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

According to Portuguese daily, Correio da Manhã, Ferreira’s body was found lifeless in a Zurich hotel where he lodged. The hotel employee had encountered the horrifying scene when she entered the room. Every part of the room was stained with blood coupled with a heavy smell of alcohol while Marques Ferreira’s body was in the bed and had stab wounds and bruises.

Swiss newspaper, 20 Minuten also that during the night, guests had complained of noise and shouting coming from the room but the hotel workers were evasive about it since the deceased, who had been living in Switzerland for two years and a regular visitor to the hotel had never given them problems before.

In a statement released Sunday afternoon, the police in Zurich has confirmed the arrest of a 39-year -old Brazilian who was identified through an express investigation conducted by the Swiss police authorities and the Forensic Institute of Zurich.



The statement reads; “A 39-year-old Brazilian was arrested by regional police investigators at his place of residence and taken to the relevant prosecutor’s office. The background and motive of the crime are subject to ongoing investigation.”

Ferreira 49, hailed from Madeira, the same city with Ronaldo and has worked with the striker for a long time in charge of his look. He has also worked models and celebrities like Isabel Angelino, Liliana Campos and Fatima Lopes. He is survived by two children.

According to The Sun, Gestifute, the agency representing Ronaldo has stated that the Juve attacker would not comment on the issue.
