Raheem Sterling seemed to put his clash with Joe Gomez behind him by applauding the Liverpool defender onto the pitch, albeit rather awkwardly.
The Manchester City forward and Liverpool defender were involved in a bust-up earlier this week on England duty.
Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate dropped Sterling for the win over Montenegro at Wembley on Thursday night and he was watched on from the stands.
Gomez, meanwhile, started on the bench and came on to replace Chelsea's Mason Mount in the 70th minute to a rather mixed reception from the Wembley crowd.
ITV cameras panned to Sterling as the Liverpool man ran onto the field, and the City star welcomed him onto the pitch.
Sterling hesitantly clapped Gomez's arrival, signalling that their feud may have been put to bed.
Sterling and Gomez clashed on the pitch at Anfield during Liverpool's 3-1 victory over Manchester City, and it spilled over to the following day.
The Man City forward admitted "emotions got the better of me" after his bust-up with the Liverpool defender, which the FA described as "a disturbance in a private team area".
"Both Joe and I have had words and figured things out and moved on," Sterling on Instagram.
"We are in a sport where emotions run high and I am man enough to admit when emotions got the better of me.
"This is why we play this sport because of our love for it - me and Joe Gomez are good, we both understand it was a five to 10 second thing... it's done, we move forward and not make this bigger than it is."
England thrashed Montenegro 7-0 to secure their place at Euro 2020 in emphatic style.
The Three Lions only needed one point from their final two matches in Group A, but got the job done with a demolition of their opponents at Wembley.
Harry Kane scored a first-half hat-trick while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Marcus Rashford also found the target before half-time.
