Juventus Ready To Sell Emre Can In January, Clubs Interested

Juventus are now ready to sell midfielder Emre Can In the January transfer window despite just signing him during the summer. Coach Maurizio Sarri left Emre Can out of his Champions League squad earlier this season, sparking concerns about the midfielder's future at the Italian club.

According to Italian Newspaper CalcioMercato, the German international having a release clause of £39million ($50m), he could leave for as low as £15m in January.

The former Liverpool man is likely to jump at the chance to leave Turin after making only four appearances this season, and he recently hit out at his treatment.

"I'm not happy [at Juventus ] right now. I don't play much at the moment," Can said last month.

"Last season I played a lot. Especially in important games for Juventus. And I also played well there.

"I haven't had a chance this season.”

He added: "But now I think, when I come back to the club, I will get chances again.

"I am definitely grateful to Joachim Low.

“Because I didn't play much in the club and he invited me anyway.

"Nevertheless, he gave me the chance. That's why I was simply happy that I played again."


Can has only started one match this season under Maurizio Sarri, that coming in a Serie A match over Lecce in October and has only featured in 150 minutes across four games.

The Germany international will be hoping to kick-start his career away from Juventus, having previously impressed with Liverpool before opting not to renew his contract and leaving for Serie A.
