"I'm Not Allowed To Speak" - Jadon Sancho After Dortmund 3-1 Barcelona Loss

Manchester United transfer target Jadon Sancho revealed he is not allowed to speak after Borussia Dortmund's 3-1 loss against Barcelona. After the match, Sancho told reporters he was “not allowed to speak” despite scoring last night in the Champions League.

The instructions were dished out in the mixed zone to press and came following Lucien Favre’s decision to drop Sancho to the bench for the clash, with the result leaving their qualification hopes hanging by a thread.

However the England international made a clear statement after entering the field as a substitute, scoring a fine goal to offer his side a glimmer of hope.

Sancho was told after the game to avoid interviews, with Dortmund clearly showing zero tolerance towards rumours he may leave the club.

According to The Athletic, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid are the four clubs interested in signing the star next summer.

His relationship with manager Favre is believed to be damaged, with Sancho feeling like he’s being scapegoated.

In recent weeks, the winger has been dropped from the match day squad against Borussia Monchengladbach.

He was then embarrassingly subbed during the first half of their 4-0 drubbing of Bayern Munich.

After the match, the Dortmund boss explained why he decided to drop the 19-year-old.

"I explained to him [why he wasn't starting] before the game," Favre said.

"I told him it was a really difficult game here in Barcelona, and weneeded players that were really focused and that went on to the pitch really focused."

Wednesday night was the latest episode in the saga which is likely to push Sancho towards the exit door.

There is already speculation claiming he wants to leave the club following the breakdown of his relationship with Favre.

Sancho is said to feel ‘humiliated’ by the recent events and feels as if he’s been unfairly mistreated.

It’s no secret that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a big fan of the star and wants to bring him to Old Trafford.
