Erling Braut Haaland' Father 'Spotted' At Man United Carrington Base Amid Transfer Links

Erling Braut Haaland's father Alf-Inge has been spotted at Manchester United Carrington training ground amid recent transfer rumours. Haaland is arguably the most in-form striker in the world right now, netting his fifth hat-trick of the season prior to the international break, taking his season tally to 35 goals in 21 appearances.

The 19-year-old - who worked with Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at his former club Molde - is the leading scorer in the Champions League and has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League.

With United interested in signing a striker in the January transfer window, multiple reports suggest Haaland is a target.

Alf Inge, a former Manchester City player, previously admitted his son was interested in a move to England.

He said: "At one stage he would like to play in the Premier League, but when that will happen, I don’t know. It is a very tough league.

"Up to now he is ahead of the stage we thought he would be at. He is built for the Premier League, but whether that will happen now or at a later stage, we don’t know."

In a recent interview with the Red Bull website in September, he was speaking of his admiration for his idol - and former United man - Zlatan Ibrahimovic whenhe said English football is his favourite.

'Every football player dreams of playing for one of the best and biggest clubs in the world,' the 19-year-old said.

'This has been a dream my whole life and I especially like English football.'

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich are all said to be interested in signing Haaland.
