Nigeria winger Samuel Chukuweze hopes he will get the chance to play in the English Premier League in future.
Chukuweze has become a regular in the Villarreal side over the last year, also making his Nigeria debut in that time and becoming one of the most sought-after young talents in world football.
The 20-year-old joined the Spanish side from Nigerian team Diamond Football Academy in 2017 and was already well known to scouts across Europe
The AFCON 2019 bronze medallist was in July revealed as one of the 50 youngsters to watch in world football by UEFA’s official website, with a worth of about $33 million
“My ambition is to play in the Premie League , but I want to go to a club where I’m really wanted, where I will be a starting player. Both the coach and club owner have to want me,” Chukwueze told reporters in Uyo ahead of Nigeria’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against the Squirrels of Benin.
