Chelsea Fans Angry As Injured N'Golo Kante Is Named In France Squad [Full List]

Chelsea Fans are angry that injured midfielder N'Golo Kante has been called up for the France national team after their international matches. Kante hasn’t played a single minute of first-team football for Chelsea since October 6, as he was injured with France during the last international break.

At the time, manager Frank Lampard accused Didier Deschamps of a lack of communication and criticized the way France dealt with Kante’s injury.

The France boss has now admitted that he hasn’t spoken to the Chelsea manager about Kante’s selection but called him up anyway.

Chelsea fans have reacted terribly to the news, with some convinced that the midfielder will return to Stamford Bridge with another injury.

“Kante gets most of his injuries when he plays for France,” tweeted one fan.

“This is where Kante's recovery ends,” added another supporter.
Kante called up for France again.. gonna come back injured for 3months,” said one Chelsea fan.

“Kante seems to be in a loop of resting with Chelsea just long enough to get selected by France and then get injured again,” added another Twitter user.

After the France squad was announced, Deschamps said that its normal for a player to be called up for their country if they’re fit.

Kante has just returned to first-team training and is set to make his first appearance this weekend since the last international break.

“I haven't spoken to [Lampard],” said Deschamps.

“N’Golo has taken time to recover. He was back in training last week, in their squad for the Champions League.
“He is back to full fitness. If a player is available for his club, it is normal that they be part of this squad.”
