Ben Foster And Kepa Shared An Emotional Moment After Sensational Injury-Time Showdown

Ben Foster and Kepa Arrizabalaga just shared an emotional moment together after the Chelsea keeper denied Ben Foster a sensational injury-time goal.

Chelsea worked hard to earn the three points during their clash against Watford this evening after a late surge from the Hornets put the pressure on Frank Lampard's side in their 2-1 victory at Vicarage Rd.

Despite Chelsea comfortably leading the game 2-0 for most of the match, a late penalty call following a VAR decision allowed Watford to grab the game by the scruff of the neck for the final ten minutes as they fought hard to steal a point from the Blues in the game's dying moments.

It all came to a head during the very last kick of the game, when Chelsea keeper Arrizabalaga pulled off an incredible save to deny Watford No.1 Ben Foster from scoring an amazing diving header to pull his team level and register his first goal for the club in the 97th minute.

Foster could barely hide his disappointment at the miss during post-match interview, but in a heartwarming act of sportsmanship the two men shared an emotional embrace as the final whistle blew, each man recognizing the other's skill and acknowledging the strangeness of the situation.

There's always been an unspoken understanding and respect between keepers at all levels of the game, and this photo shows just how much that moment means to the two of them.
