Barcelona Ace Arturo Vidal Hints At Inter Milan January Transfer

Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal is not opposed to leaving the club after being linked as Inter Milan's main January transfer target. The 32-year-old midfielder has struggled to nail down a first-team spot under Ernesto Valverde since joining from Bayern Munich in 2018 for almost £20million.

However, before his spell he spent four seasons at Juventus, winning three Serie A titles in his three season under Conte.

According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Chile international is a key target for the former Chelsea boss.

"I lived wonderful moments with Antonio Conte," he said.

"My leap in quality was thanks to him.

“In football, the most important thing is confidence.

“When a coach of that level gives you it, you improve a lot,"
Vidal played and scored in the 5-1 win over Real Valladolid in midweek, but could chose to leave in order to secure a regular starting spot.

The former Colo-Colo and Bayer Leverkusen man opened up on his plight to start more games during October, and revealed his hope for the future.

“It’s difficult [not to be starting] when physically and football-wise you’re fine," he said.

“Every time I’ve played I’ve done so in the best way possible.

“It’s the coach’s decision but I’m always ready and I’m waiting for the next few games to play more minutes.

“I will continue to work hard to get back to being a starter.”

Barcelona play next against Levante and hope to increase their lead over Real Madrid on the La Liga table.
