Arsene Wenger At 70 Shows Off Shock Physique In Doha (Photos)

Former Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger is making the best of his free time enjoying being out of job in Doha. Wenger has attracted interest from Bayern Munich, showed off an impressive physique for someone who has just turned 70, suggesting he is still looking after himself despite many thinking he would retire after leaving the Gunners last year.

And after sighting the Frenchman by the sea in Doha, a handful of fans took the opportunity to have a snap with the three-time Premier League winner.

Wenger has been a free agent for nearly a year and a half, and has always hinted he would soon return to the game after a host of vacancies popped up, but has instead worked as a pundit for various TV and radio stations.

But it's unlikely the 70-year-old will be able to soak up the sun on holidays for much longer, as he's been heavily linked to the post at Bayern after Niko Kovac was sacked last week.

Wenger has admitted he has held talks with the Bavarian club and spoke on the phone with chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who he said asked if he was interested in the job.

He said he had told the supremo that he would 'think about it' as he was enjoying his holiday in Doha, but said he would think about it and get back to him after he returned.

'We decided together we will talk next week because I'm in Doha until Sunday. This is the true story,' he said.

'On Wednesday afternoon, Rummenigge called me. I could not answer and by politeness I called him back.

'He was in his car going to the game against Olympiakos. We talked for four to five minutes maximum and he told me they had assigned [Hans-Dieter] Flick to be the coach - he will manage the next two games.'

Bayern sacked Kovac after a humiliating 5-1 loss to Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, leaving the German champions in fourth place and losing ground in the title race.
