Nigeria forward Chidera Ejuke has been named in Dutch Eredivisie (Premier Division) team of the month for September, following his impressive display for SC Heerenveen.
Ejuke, 21, hit the back of the net four times in the league for Heerenven last month.
He bagged a brace in the 3-0 away win against VVV Venlo and scored his side’s only goal in the 1-1 home draw versus Utrecht.
The young striker has scored four goals in eight league appearances for Heerenveen this season.
Ejuke only linked up with Heerenveen from Norwegian club, Valerenga this summer.
Similarly, he has been named Eredivisie U-21 player of the month for September.
Heerenveen will host PEC Zwolle in their next league match at home on Saturday.
