Anthony Joshua Is Tenth On World's Richest Boxers List


Anthony Joshua's worth £40 million more than Mike Tyson but the British star trails Floyd Mayweather by a massive £400 million on the list of world's richest boxers.

Joshua, 30, has the chance to reclaim the heavyweight world titles when he rematches Andy Ruiz Jr on December 7 in Saudi Arabia.

He is set to earn a huge payday and a recent study claims he has a net worth of £43 million. But the ex-heavyweight king is behind former foe Wladimir Klitschko as well as current stars 'Canelo' Alvarez and Manny Pacquiao.

Joshua's also well behind Lennox Lewis and George Foreman not to mention 'Money' Mayweather who has a whopping £435 million net worth.

Joshua's net worth will rise after his fight with Ruiz Jr and he also has a steady revenue stream through his sponsorship deals with the likes of Lucozade, Dre Beats and Under Armour.

Pacquiao, a multi-weight world champion, fought Floyd Mayweather in the 'Fight of the Century', and pocketed a reported £93 million.

3. Oscar De La Hoya - £155m

De La Hoya now heads Golden Boy Promotions after a successful amateur and professional career, where he won a gold at the 1992 Olympics and world titles in six weight divisions. His fight against Mayweather was the biggest boxing pay-per-view of all time until Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

Foreman has made a huge chunk of his fortune from selling the naming rights to the George Foreman grill, in a deal worth a believed £138 million in 1999.

1. Floyd Mayweather - £435m

Unsurprisingly, Mayweather (50-0) tops the list with a net worth of £435 million. The American retired from the sport after his mega money Las Vegas showdown against UFC star Conor McGregor, where he made a cool £214 million.
