Sadio Mane reiterates his commitment to Liverpool amid Real Madrid interest

Sadio Mane has reiterated his commitment to Liverpool by revealing how much he is enjoying part of Jurgen Klopp's squad.

Spanish giants Real Madrid were linked with the Senegalese star during the summer and Zinedine Zidane is a long-time admirer.

But Mane insists he has no interest in leaving Anfield and is fully focused on Liverpool's attempt to win the Premier League title this season.

'To be honest, I'm really happy to be a part of the club, the family here,' when asked about his future by Complex.

'We have the best fans in the world here, so I'm always so thankful for the support.

'It's not just great for me too – it gives the whole squad more motivation to perform.

'It keeps us hungry to get better and better together - I really struggle to describe how happy I am to be here!'

Mane won the Premier League golden boot last season with 22 goals and played a pivotal role in their Champions League triumph.

And he is keen for more silverware,

'It's very early to say of course, but our target, as everyone knows, is to win the league this season. We're targeting the Champions League as well,' said Mane.
