Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is facing a major injury crisis ahead of Manchester United's clash with Leicester tomorrow.
United, chasing a first win since the opening weekend of the season, host the Foxes at Old Trafford, where Solskajer could be without as many as seven first-team players.
Solskjaer is without Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot and Eric Bailly, with Jesse Lingard and Aaron Wan-Bissaka also doubtful.
United's squad has been stretched to the limit ahead of the encounter with third-placed Leicester, with Solskjaer needing a win to ease the pressure on him after draws with Wolves and Southampton, and a home defeat to Crystal Palace.
"The treatment room's been busy and still is, so we don't really know who's going to be available," said Solskajer.
"There's maybe Aaron, maybe Jesse, and I think maybe that's it from the ones that pulled out of international duty, but I can't promise those two will be available either.
"Pogba won't be fit, no, unless he's had a miraculous recovery overnight from yesterday to today, or tonight to tomorrow. He's not been ready to do 100 per cent training, no.
"We hope more can be ready for West Ham next week, and Paul and Anthony are in that category. I think they'll be ready for then and can't say more than that really.
"Leicester is always a tough game, as a team, a club wanting to push into the top four. They've got good players, a good manager, a proven top manager, Brendan's teams always play with football and we've got to play well to get the three points."
As well as injuries, United are facing the prospect of losing first-choice goalkeeper David De Gea for nothing at the end of the season, with the Spaniard out of contract at the end of the campaign and yet to sign a new deal.
Solskajer said: "I want David to stay here, he knows that. He's the best goalkeeper in the world, we've seen that over the years, and I hope I can make sure he'll finish his career at Manchester United at the highest level.
"There's been loads of talks, lots of discussions between David and the club, and hopefully we can get it done."
Tomorrow's game is the first time United's £80million signing Harry Maguire faces his former club Leicester since his summer switch, with Solskjaer hailing the impact made by the world's most expensive defender.
"I think he's been brilliant," said Solskjaer. "He's come into the dressing room, been a leader, a leader on the pitch, and I'm sure he's looking forward to playing against his old team.
"He's going to be a big part of the future of this club. We've watched him enough to know he's the guy we wanted, that's why we spent the money we did on him, and Leicester didn't want to lose him.
"He's a definitely a character and personality that can be captain of a big club. In the dressing room he's a leader both in terms of performances, stature and behaviour.
"He's a character you'd like to follow. Some are technical leaders, some are leaders by voice, he's got the lot."
