Inter striker Mauro Icardi is on the verge of a huge move to PSG after the clubs agreed a loan move with an option to buy on transfer deadline day.
Icardi had been expected to leave Inter all summer after new manager Antonio Conte decided the former club captain wasn't part of his plans but so far no one has been able to match the fee wanted by the Serie A side.
Now he looks set to move to PSG with French newspaper RMC reporting that the clubs have agreed a one year loan deal with option to make it a permanent move for 70 million euros.
The report says that Icardi is expected to leave Milan at 3pm and arrive in France at 5pm, with Ligue 1's transfer window closing at 11pm tonight.
As well as the deal with PSG, the 26-year-old has also signed a new contract with Inter, probably to make sure the club can still sell for a decent price if the Ligue 1 champions decide not to sign him permanently.
Icardi's move may also hint at Neymar finally leaving PSG, with the Brazilian having similar troubles to the Inter man in finding a club to match the price wanted by his club.
The former Sampdoria striker had been Inter's most potent attacker for the past five seasons but found himself out of the team half-way through last season after a falling out with Luciano Spalletti.
Conte's appointment hasn't helped and the former Chelsea boss still wanted to sell the striker and has brought in Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to replace him.
Icardi wanted to move to Juventus but the Nerazzurri didn't want to sell to their rivals and the striker threatened them with legal action, but today's agreement suits all parties.
