Messi writes on Instagram to thank fans who voted for him to be the ESPY Best International Men's Football Player.
"Thank you very much to all who voted for me as Best Male International Football Player in the 2019 ESPY Awards. I send you a hug."
Lionel Messi won this award in July. He took home the hardware for Best International Men's Football Player while Ronaldo, Mbappe and Van Dijk were nominated.
