Steve Bruce Appointed Newcastle United Manager

Newcastle United have appointed Steve Bruce as their head coach on a three-year contract.

The Magpies who have been without a manager since Rafael Benitez left when his contract expired in June, to join up with Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang, have quickly snapped up the Former Sunderland manager Bruce, who resigned as Sheffield Wednesday boss on Monday following talks with Newcastle at the weekend.

He will be joined by coaches Steve Agnew and Stephen Clemence, who have been part of his coaching team at some of the clubs he has worked for in the past.
Steve Bruce's appointment has led to widespread debate among fans, some of whom still feel angered by the fact that a deal could not be struck for Benitez to stay on at St James' Park after more than three years at the club.

Most of the criticisms have gone the way of the Owner Mike Ashley for his failure to properly invest alot of money needed to sign quality players to help move the club forward.
