Paul Pogba posts throwback snap with his dad and recent photo with baby son as he celebrates Father's Day

Paul Pogba has posted a throwback snap with his dad and a current photo as he celebrates Father's Day.

The Manchester United midfielder's father passed away in May 2017 at the age of 79 after a long-battle with illness. And Pogba paid tribute, captioning the image with: 'RIP Papa'.

He also posed in a t-shirt with the phrase 'Best Dad in the Seven Kingdoms' — a reference to TV show Game of Thrones — alongside a stroller containing his son.

Girlfriend Maria Salaues and Pogba welcomed a son into the world in January this year.

The France international can clearly already see the similarities between himself and his kid, writing on Instagram: 'Like father like son'.

He added: 'Happy father's day to all the dads in the world. So blessed'.
