Gernot Rohr Closes Door to Fans, Media, Onlookers as Eagles Prepare Against Burundi

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has closed the door to fans as he prepares his team for their first game against Burundi on Saturday.
The team will now train behind closed doors in their last two workouts.
The Super Eagles’ training sessions will hold at the training pitch of the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Alexandria, starting from 1700 hours each day, according to the Nigeria Football Federation.
This is to enable Rohr go through his tactics without the prying eyes of onlookers, the media and fans, who will be allowed to witness only the first fifteen minutes of each session on Thursday and Friday.


The team’s first official press conference of the 2019 AFCON will hold at the Press Conference Hall of the Alexandria Stadium from 2-2:30pm on Friday, June 21, 2019.
