Real Betis' Mexico international Diego Lainez has redoubled his commitment to making a name in European football, ruling out a mooted return to America.
Lainez, 18, earned a move to La Liga at the start of 2019, but found it difficult to establish himself in the team previously coached by Quique Setien.
The winger made just three league starts following his transfer as Betis slipped to a 10th-placed finish, with Setien leaving at the end of the season to be replaced by Rubi.
