Insider Reveals Number of Players Solskjaer wants to Sign for Man United this Summer

An insider at Manchester United has revealed that manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, will make five signings this summer, according to ESPN.

Solskjaer is looking to strengthen the squad this summer, with the transfer window after United’s disappointing season.

The Red Devils witnessed a nightmare campaign that saw them sack Jose Mourinho and failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Manchester United already have a variety of names on their transfer wishlist.

Names such as Jadon Sancho, Declan Rice, Youri Tielemans and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, just a few of the players are on their list.

ESPN reports that source have told them that Solskjaer is likely to make at least five signings.

The Red Devils boss feels he needs reinforcements in every area.

He is looking for a top-class centre-back to partner Victor Lindelof with Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane on their radar.

Wan-Bissaka is being eyed to replace Antonio Valencia at right-back.

And, in the middle of the park, United also need to splash the cash.

Spanish midfielder, Ander Herrera today confirmed he would be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Tielemans, Rice and Sporting Lisbon powerhouse Bruno Fernandes have all been backed to make the move.

Also, Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi has been linked, particularly, should the Serie A giants sign Romelu Lukaku.
