Neville Sends Message to De Gea after Another Blunder in Man United’s 1-1 Draw with Chelsea

Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville has advised goalkeeper David De Gea to get away from football in the summer and reset after he committed another blunder in Man United’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Sunday in the Premier League.

Goals from Juan Mata and Marcos Alonso ensured both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men and Maurizio Sarri’s side got a point each at Old Trafford.

De Gea fumbled a shot from Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger, which allowed left-back, Marcos Alonso, to equalise for the Blues before half time.

The 28-year-old also committed a mistake against Manchester City forward, Leroy Sane, in their last Premier League 2-0 defeat to Pep Guardiola’s side.

When asked about De Gea’s mistake in Man United’s draw against Chelsea, Neville said on Sky Sports: “He needs to get away from football in the summer and reset.

“De Gea has built up so much credit but he is having a really torrid time. He is having a nightmare of a time.

“Credit to Alonso for following it in, Ashley Young, Ander Herrera, Eric Bailly, they don’t.”
