The 32-year-old midfielder spent most part of his career at the Emirates Stadium nursing injuries.
Abou Diaby spent majority of his senior career at the Emirates Stadium – having joined them in 2006 and left the club in 2015.
During his nine year reign at the north London side, he scored 14 goals in 124 appearances for the Gunners.
