Arsenal recovered from a shock 1-0 loss in Belarus against BATE Borisov last week, winning 3-0 at the Emirates to reach the next round. Meanwhile Chelsea cruised past Malmo, thumping the Swedish side 5-1 on aggregate.
With both Arsenal and Chelsea sitting outside the top four in the Premier League, both sides will be hoping to win the Europa League final in Azerbaijan to qualify for the more lucrative Champions League next season.
