Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker has criticised Cristiano Ronaldo for posting an ill-timed selfie while on board his private jet on Tuesday evening.

Lineker flagged the Juventus star's tweet before saying: 'Not the day for this tweet. It really isn't.'

The Portuguese striker's picture comes in the wake of Emiliano Sala's disappearance as he flew from Nantes to Cardiff on Monday night to complete his move to the Premier League side.
