Petit Keita, the 17-year-old forward, has been seen at Liverpool's Kirkby ground in recent weeks.
According to ESPN, the teenager has been looking to impress Jurgen Klopp since leaving Inter Leipzig during the summer.
It's not known if the Reds are considering offering him a deal.
